| Job Description: |
SUMMARYThe primary purpose of this position is to conduct financial, operational and compliance audits throughout the organization. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned: Assist the Supervising Auditor, Manager, or Senior Manager with the performance, review, and test of assigned functions and activities. Perform and document audits in accordance with audit standards and clearly report findings to the senior audit management team and the business partner. Interview key associates involved in an audit to understand, document, and discuss activities and key controls for areas reviewed. Generate a report at the conclusion of an audit that includes comments and recommendations for improvement. Develop and utilize problem-solving and analytical abilities to suggest operational enhancements for areas reviewed during an audit. Perform store visits, observe physical inventory counts, and review compliance of store operations with established company policies. Provide assistance to external Auditors as required. Complete job performance reviews when acting as in-charge auditor on various projects.

- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects.
- Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.
- Ability to work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines.
The following qualities are helpful: - Proficiency with the Microsoft® Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
- Knowledge of the theory and practice of internal controls.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Analytical abilities.

| Education: |
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting or related field, plus two (2) years' experience in auditing, accounting, data processing, or any related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
