The primary purpose of this position is to maintain all Corporate Office facilities and grounds, overseeing staff and the upkeep of equipment and supplies including:
-Scheduling repairs, renovations projects, waste reduction improvements, and safety inspections
-Overseeing services related to electric maintenance, mechanics, hydraulics, carpentry and masonry
-Ensuring operating requirements, building codes, and safety regulations are met
Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
Manage all maintenance and repair projects associated with the Corporate Headquarters Facilities, including Janitorial and Food Service vendors.
Provide project management on renovations or re-configurations to the Corporate Facility including space planning build out and move in phases.
Directly supervise more complex energy and mechanical equipment repair and replacement projects.
Oversee the receipt, collection, sorting and distribution of mail and packages throughout the corporate facilities.
Maintain the security access and fire safety systems for all Corporate Facilities.
This position directly supervises Chief Mechanic, Maintenance Mechanic , Operator, Switchboard, Mailroom Supervisor, and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Rite Aid policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, directing, rewarding, and disciplining associates; appraising associate performance; and resolving complaints.
