The primary purpose of this position is to provide support to the distribution centers with regard to material handling systems, facilities improvement, ergonomic design, production methods and procedures, Engineered labor standards development & maintenance, systems development and implementation, and capital project budgeting & management. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

The following qualities are required:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Industrial Engineering, plus 2-4 years' experience as an Industrial Engineer, also experience in big-box distribution; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
