    SUMMARY

    The primary purpose of this position is to manage all phases of due diligence, design, engineering, architecture, construction, scheduling, and accounting of construction projects within a specific geographical area. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage architects, engineers, and general contractors to ensure the project is completed on time, and is completed within the budget
    • Coordinate with Store Operations, the Merchandising teams, and Field leadership for project scheduling and execution and coordinating with our outside vendors to solicit quotes, schedule installations for decor, flooring, low voltage wiring, and other store setup needs
    • Complete contracts for architectural work, construction, and major maintenance work
    • Complete project budgets, change orders, and turnkey cost additions as required
    • Interact with the Regional Director, Construction, to resolve issues regarding design, engineering, and construction
    • Schedule projects within the time-frame required by the corporate office
    • Support all operating stores within a geographical area with regard to technical issues and problems or project requests

    Experience / Requirements

    • Five (5) years' of experience in  Retail construction management required.

    • Or equivalent education in lieu of experience

    Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Engineering/Construction Management required
